Both theater and psychoanalysis make use of similar concepts in their practices, they often refer to possible analogies and many other times they don’t. In this paper, we try to identify the uses of these concepts which are fundamental to psychoanalysis, especially in some of the so-called severe pathologies. We refer to the interference of the theater in psychoanalysis to account for a particular psychopathology called psychosomatic, how this can be understood from the tragedy unlike drama and how in it there is a new type of demand, which aims, through its representative, to a presentation.
