To discuss the effects of the crisis on the subjectivity and mental health we need to consider that a subject is constituted and constructed as a complex net in which psychic aspects (the personality, the character or the position in which a subject is located in the world) weave with the body (in terms of the genetic or organic aspects). The psyche and the physical dimension of the human being keeps a close and continued unwavering relationship with the social element.
The characteristics of a society, the historical moment, the place or the family in which a human being is born and broght up, affect directly its subjective constitution, that is to say, its way to settle in the world, to build a place and link with other people.
