It is becoming more and more common, especially in adolescents, but not only in them, a kind of transference attachment that I’m going to call «Facebook-style», characterized by a superficial, situational, ephemeral and imaginary relationship. The patient will finish the affective bond with the therapist as a Facebook contact is deleted. The transfer joins with the distrust.
This elusive and distant contact is also observable in other social aspects, for example in the «public spaces» which will be areas of disagreement.
It is challenging not to do treatments Facebook-style.
