Based on the experience with group work with older people within the program of emotional support in old age, we do a reflection of what happens in psychoanalytic treatment groups targeted around the completion of the groups, the farewells and losses and how to face them throughout life. The end of the group is part of the setting of the work of old age. Saying goodbye to the group, saying goodbye to life, saying goodbye, lived and shared experiences, anxieties and defenses that are revealed in the old age groups.
